THE WRITER
Scott Snyder
Scott Snyder is a New York Times bestselling author and one of comics’ bestselling writers. He is the recipient of two Eisner Awards, a Harvey Award, an Eagle Award, three Stan Lee Awards, and an Inkpot Award. Snyder made his comic book writing debut in 2009, with Marvel Comics. In 2011, Vertigo and DC Comics published American Vampire, his creator-owned debut, with artist and co-creator Rafael Albuquerque. The first story was co-authored by Stephen King and received international acclaim.
Snyder is best known for writing Batman including seminal runs on Detective Comics (with artist Jock) and Batman (with frequent collaborator Greg Capullo). Snyder has co-created some of the most successful creator-owned comics, including Wytches (with Jock and in development at Amazon Studios for animation), The Wake (with Sean Murphy), A.D. (with Jeff Lemire) and Undiscovered Country (with Charles Soule, Guiseppe Camuncoli, and Daniele Orlandi).
In 2020, Snyder Unveiled his Best Jackett Press label. He lives on Long Island with his wife and three sons. He is an avid and non-ironic fan of Elvis Presley.

Emma Price
is a multidisciplinary graphic designer and illustrator living in the UK. She has created the logo and brand identity for Best Jackett Press, worked with the team to create the super stylish NOCTERRA Kickstarter editions and designed the ongoing series. She's also created logos and design for other books in the Best Jackett range including BARNSTORMERS, CLEAR and WE HAVE DEMONS.
Her previous credits include Coffin Bound, Savage Town (Image Comics), Motherlands (Vertigo) and Stronghold (Aftershock Comics), to name a few.
Will Dennis
was an editor at Vertigo/DC Entertainment for more than fifteen years, specializing in genre fiction comics and graphic novels. His award-winning titles include 100 Bullets, Y: The Last Man, Scalped, DMZ, Joker and many more. Since then, he has worked as a freelance editor for Image Comics, comiXology, DC Entertainment and also wrote The Art of Jock for Insight Editions. He lives in Brooklyn, NY.
Tyler Jennes
is an assistant editor, working with Will Dennis for the past year on comic titles by creators like Jeff Lemire, Rick Remender, Brian Azzarello, Jason Aaron, and yes, Scott Snyder.
